概要 Description
Based on a deep understanding of design thinking as stated in the diploma policy, this course aims to create "engineering that helps the human body" by fusing cutting-edge knowledge of nano-medicine and robotics acquired in the bachelor's course, and to acquire the necessary thinking, judgment, and expression skills to solve the problems of a declining population society by generating innovation through originality, broad perspective, and flexible thinking. Students will learn experimental verification methods in the problem-solving process of research, including background research, problem setting, method proposal, and verification.

目的 Objectives
You acquire skills to solve problems as vocational abilities and how to report their results.

Outcomes
Conduct a consistent process of experiments, analyzes, discussions and summaries that give solutions to the set problems, and to be able to accurately report its contents.
In addition, in order to cultivate the basic ability to publish master's thesis content in English externally in English, as well as the ability to write research abstracts in English, attaining English ability equivalent to over 600 TOEIC or TOEIC-IP scores at the time of completion To be able to acquire English ability to do.

Class plan

Learn the abilities listed in the above outline, objective and goal in the literature survey, target setting, experiment, analysis, discussion, discussion, summary and reporting cycle according to each research theme.
Focusing on the method of design thinking, we will proceed with research using the process of solving social problems by design. Prototype production and thesis production will be performed, and the final summary will be announced.

(1) Select a theme that you are deeply interested in from the basic learning, or a theme that you are strongly interested in solving from various problems that should be solved in society. Take a deep look to figure out what the essential problem is to be solved.
(2) In the process of finding problems and then coming up with ideas, it is necessary to have group discussions and brainstorming.
(3) Try to design a wide range of solutions without setting up a wall in the research area.
(4) Prototype
(5) Proceed with writing a treatise during the processes of (1) to (4)
(6) Test Further observation
(7) Redesign
(8) Retest and observation
(9) Treatise writing and presentation
