All students are required to attend more than 50%. First Semester: (1) Methodologies for EEG in psychological experiments. In computational neuroscience, simulation methods using model neurons, neural network models, and synaptic plasticity (Hebbian & STDP rules). (2) Construction of hypotheses in information processing in the brain and design of the cognitive or numerical experiments. Second Semester: (1) Cognitive or numerical experiments. Analyses of the data such as wavelet transformation, ERP, and cross-correlation. Statistical tests if necessary. (2) Presentation in academic conferences. Writing the thesis paper. Work experience of the instructor
