概要 Description
To become professionals in protein engineering, this class aims to acquire the basic knowledge of genome science and bioinformatics which has recently developed in the field of biology. We will utilize the bioinformatics method and apply them to understand protein function to use them in experimental research. Lecture on genome information and usage of various databases, prediction and analysis of protein structures such as amino acid sequence, X-ray crystal structure analysis, and system biology will be given.
