概要 Description

Drug delivery is an important factor supporting modern drug therapy in medicine. An important point to consider in the development of drug delivery is that formulation design is carried out for the effective use of drugs. This lecture will use examples to show how drug delivery systems for effective treatment have been constructed and put to practical use through the control of the interaction between drugs and the body. Through this lecture, students will gain an overview of drug therapy, formulation design, and drug delivery systems. In addition, students will understand the properties that materials used in drug therapy should have. This lecture will develop the knowledge that engineers who will work in the fields of pharmaceutical development and medical devices in the future should have. This lecture is a "specialized subject" that is in line with the first and fifth paragraphs of the Curriculum Policy for this department, especially the "specialized subject" that aims to produce creative human resources who have acquired specialized knowledge of nanomedicine and robotics after mastering basic science and design thinking, and is part of the achievement of the Department's diploma policy, "We aim to produce creative human resources who have acquired specialized knowledge of nanomedicine and robotics, and to develop human resources who will produce innovation based on correct ethics and rich humanity."
