指導教員の指導のもとで、研究テーマ設定や研究計画⽴案のための⽂献調査、研究テーマに密接に関連する⽂献の精読を⾏う。
また、調査・研究した内容について進捗状況の報告とディスカッションを随時⾏う。
以上の成果をもとに修⼠論⽂を作成する。
Under the guidance of the supervisor, students survey literature in order to set research themes and to make research plans, and carefully read the literature closely related to the research themes.
Also, students will report their progress and discuss the contents of their surveys and researches from time to time.
Based on the above results, students prepare master theses.

修⼠論⽂のテーマとして取り上げる研究分野の最新動向を把握し、⾃⾝の研究⽅針を定めると共に、先⾏研究に対する位置づけを明確にする。
なお、本科⽬は本専攻のディプロマポリシーに定める「電気電子情報工学専攻において修得した⾼度な専⾨知識・研究能⼒と教養をもとに、⾃ら課題を発⾒・設定し、解決する能⼒」および「電気電子情報工学専攻において修得した⾼度な専⾨知識・研究能⼒と教養をもとに、国際的な視野を持って活躍できる能⼒」を実現するための科⽬である。
Through intensive surveys of research trends in the field related to their master theses, students clarify the direction and background of their own research.
We aim to acquire "ability to find, set and solve problems by ourselves based on high-level expertise, research ability, and intelligence educated in Department of Electrical Engineering" and "ability to be active with international scope based on high-level expertise, research ability, and intelligence educated in Department of Electrical Engineering" described in the diploma policy of our department.

・⽂献データベースなどの使い⽅を学び、求める⽂献を効率的に収集する技術を修得する。
・専⾨的な⽂献の内容を、素早く正確に理解する能⼒を⾝に付ける。
・⽂献より吸収した知識を、⾃らの研究に関連付けて役⽴てることができるようになる。
・⽂献研究で得られた知識に基づいて修⼠論⽂をまとめることができる。
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
・search the related articles effectively by appropriate means, including the use of research databases.
・understand contents of the articles in their research fields quickly and correctly.
・make use of the knowledge acquired from the articles for their own research projects.
・Complete their master theses based on the acquired knowledge.

準備学習：毎回のゼミや研究報告会に向け，各回の調査テーマや研究報告課題に関して，十分な調査・研究・考察等を行うこと。（毎回２時間以上）
復習：毎回のゼミ並べに研究報告会で明らかになった知見や課題について整理し，さらに深く考察・調査・研究を進めることにより，次回に向けて取り組むこと。（毎回２時間以上）
(Preparation) Conduct adequate surveys, research and examination about each research theme and research report issue for each seminar and research meeting, spending more than 2 hours each time.
(Review) Organize the findings and tasks revealed at each seminar and research meeting, and undertake further examination, surveys and research for next time, spending more than 2 hours each time.

文献調査への取り組みを指導教員が評価する。また，ゼミなどでのプレゼンテーションの能力・発表内容・理解度を指導教員が評価する。両者の比率については，研究への取り組み６割，ゼミなどでの採点を４割として成績を評価し，６割以上を合格とする。
The supervisor will assess the level of effort in the literature survey, and the ability, contents, and understanding of the presentations in seminars. As for the ratios, the effort is 60% and the mark in seminars, etc. is 40%. Passing requires a score of at least 60%.

指導教員の指導のもと、以下を行う。
(1)研究テーマに密接に関連する文献調査と精読
(2)修士論文執筆のために必要な文献調査の実施
(3)調査・研究した内容について質疑応答を実施
(4)⽂献研究の成果を利⽤した修⼠論⽂の作成
Conduct the following work under the guidance of the supervisor:
1. Survey the literature in order to set research themes and to make research plans.
2. Carefully read the literature closely related to the research themes.
3. Discuss their surveys and research.
4. Prepare a master thesis by utilizing the results of the study on scientific papers.
