指導教員の指導のもとで、研究テーマに密接に関連する文献調査と精読、修士論文執筆のために必要な文献調査の行い、調査・研究した内容について進捗状況の報告とディスカッションを随時行う。以上の成果をもとに修士論文を作成する。

Under the guidance of the supervisor, students survey the literature in order to set research themes and make research plans, and carefully read the literature closely related to the research themes. Students will also report their progress and discuss their surveys and researches from time to time. Based on the above results, students prepare master's theses.

自身の研究に必要な文献を調査し、海外、国内での研究状況を理解する。また、日本語及び英語で書かれた論文を読む能力を身につけるほか、英語で研究内容の要約をまとめられる、日本語で研究内容を書き、発表する能力を養うことを目的とする。本科目は本専攻のディプロマポリシーに定める「電気電子情報工学専攻において修得した高度な専門知識・研究能力と教養をもとに、自ら課題を発見・設定し、解決する能力」および「電気電子情報工学専攻において修得した高度な専門知識・研究能力と教養をもとに、国際的な視野を持って活躍できる能力」を実現するための科目である。

Investigating several research papers necessary for your own research and understanding the research situations all over the world. In addition, this course aims to acquiring the ability to read papers written in Japanese and English. Moreover, it aims to develop the ability to write and publish research papers in Japanese and to summarize the abstract of research contents in English. We aim to acquire "the ability to think logically and critically based on the high level of expertise, research skills and insight acquired in the Department of Electrical Engineering; and to discover, analyze and solve problems" and "the ability to be active with an international perspective based on the high level of specialist knowledge, research skills and knowledge of liberal arts acquired in the Department of Electrical Engineering" described in the Diploma Policies of the Department.

この講義の到達目標は以下の能力を身につけることです。
・自身の研究に関連した日本語で書かれた論文を読み、その内容を理解することができる。
・自身の研究に関連した英語で書かれた論文を読み、その内容を理解することができる。
・自身の研究に関して、英語で要約をまとめることができる。
・日本語で研究内容をまとめ、発表することができる。
・他の人の発表内容を理解し、質問し、討論することができる。
・文献研究の成果をもとに修士論文としてまとめることのできる

The goal is to equip students with the following abilities under the guidance of the supervisor:
· Read papers written in Japanese related to your own research and understand its contents.
· Read papers written in English related to your own research and understand its contents.
· Summarize abstracts in English concerning your own research.
· Summarize research contents in Japanese and to present it.
· Understand, question and discuss the contents of presentations by others.　
· Complete the study on scientific papers as a master's thesis.

計画的に文献紹介ができるように準備を進めておくこと。

Be prepared to introduce research articles in a systematic manner.

準備学習：　文献紹介に向け、各回の調査テーマや研究報告課題に関して、十分な調査・研究・考察等を行うこと。（毎回2時間以上）
復習：　文献紹介時に明らかになった知見を各自の研究に活かすとともに、プレゼンテーションにおける課題、反省点について整理し、今後のプレゼンテーションスキルに活かせるように、次回に向けて取り組むこと。（毎回2時間以上）　　

(Preparation) Conduct adequate surveys, research and examination about each research theme and research report issue for each seminar and research meeting, spending more than 2 hours each time.
(Review) Organize the findings and tasks revealed at each seminar and research meeting, and work for further examination, surveys and research towards the next time, spending more than 2 hours each time.

文献研究発表会での参加態度（積極的に質問を行うなどの態度）と文献紹介時に提出される資料、スライド、発表内容、質疑応答、計画性を100点満点で評価し、60点以上を合格とする。 また、学会発表実績も考慮する。

【フィードバックの方法】
文献研究発表会や、学会発表のための論文指導・リハーサルなどを通じて、技術資料、プレゼンテーション（スライドの作り方や、発表の仕方）などについての課題等を都度フィードバックする。

Supervisor evaluates efforts to literature survey, and ability, contents, and understanding of the presentations in seminars. In addition, the results of academic presentation may be taken into consideration. Criteria for passing is the score higher than or equal to 60%.

From 1: Summarizing the contents of domestic and international research articles related to your own research, and presenting it.
