概要 Description
This course covers radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuit (IC) technologies used in wireless communication transceivers.
目的 Objectives
The objective of this course is to develop an understanding of RF IC technologies used in wireless communication transceivers. This course is intended to help students achieve the Diploma Policy of the program, specifically “extremely advanced specialized knowledge in at least one of the three areas—electrical engineering, electronics engineering, and information and communications engineering—within the Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering Program.”
到達目標 Outcomes
Students will build and acquire a solid foundation for learning RF IC technologies used in wireless communication transceivers.
In particular, students will be able to understand the operating principles of the following circuits:
- Amplifiers
- Frequency mixers
- Oscillators
