概要 Description
Students will be able to search and research speciality books and academic papers written in English related to their master's thesis research topic, and acquire the skills to summarize their content. Furthermore, as their research progresses, they will be able to summarize their progress and consider experimental results. They will also acquire the skills to present and discuss these contents with mentors and other students. The aim is to train researchers/engineers who will be able to research backgrounds and technologies related to their future work and have effective presentation skills based on that. This subject is listed in the curriculum policy as "In the "specialized subjects," students will acquire specialized knowledge in nanomedicine, robotics, and related fields, and will cultivate creativity and development skills rooted in design thinking, which is the key to solving problems in advanced technology development. We have organized subjects that students can study independently, and we will develop the thinking, judgment, and expression skills necessary for researchers and engineers. In addition, these courses are offered to enable students to take courses from other graduate schools, departments, and universities, provide opportunities for interdisciplinary study and exchange between different fields, and aim to acquire broad and deep academic knowledge. They are offered as part of the acquisition of the abilities set out in items (1) to (3) and (5) of the diploma policy.

It is possible to acquire skills to search and examine technical books and academic papers, summarize the contents of these, and present them clearly. Also, by asking questions and answers about these contents, you will be able to deepen your understanding of expert knowledge. Furthermore, we can summarize the progress of our own research, announce it, and learn skills to answer questions. In order to disseminate the results obtained internationally, it is possible to acquire English equivalent to TOEIC 650 points.
