概要 Description
Learn the experimental, numerical, and theoretical methods in softmatter-, bio-, and nonequilibrium physics. Attendees will gain the perspective and attitude as independent researchers.
By handling softmatter, biomaterial, and non-equilibrium phenomena, one gains various physics methods relevant to understanding natural phenomena. In addition, experimental and numerical techniques, reading comprehension of scientific papers, and presentation skills will be provided. Training for research ethics will be given in a practical situation.
1. Understand theoretical frameworks for nonequilibrium phenomena. 2. Obtain experimental techniques for handling soft and bio matter. 3. Gain ability to construct mathematical model for various natural and social phenomena. 4. Acquire writing skills in English and Japanese.

Preparation and review
Before each presentation on academic text, all participants are required to read through the text as well as presenters. For the experiments, safety information should be obtained beforehand from MSDS etc. Review must be done if there is any contradiction in the logics demonstrated in seminars and presentation. Performance grading policy
Evaluation is based on presentation and participation in seminars. Comments and question in seminar is especially relevant. Presentation of researches for the public such as conferences and papers will also be considered. Evaluation of academic achievement
