Preparation and review
Students must thoroughly understand the assigned research topic and independently understand the current situation in related fields to constantly compare the progress of their own research. Students should consider what makes their own research original, examine what they should be doing, and continue to create and be ingenious. Specifically, students will convert knowledge accumulated before entering the graduate course into wisdom, utilize research methods they acquired for the graduation thesis, and pursue their research through discussions with teaching staff. Performance grading policy
Grading will be done based on general evaluation for various reports, presentation and contents of thesis, and performance in presentations in various academic meetings. Evaluation of academic achievement

Class plan
In your graduation research, focusing on the asymmetricalization (chirality and asymmetric induction) of metal complexes and metal ion clusters, you will conduct their structural design and synthesis, structural analysis, physical property evaluation, and functional development. The outline of the research is shown below. 1. Research the background through literature related to the research theme and understand the purpose and significance of the research. 2. Acquire the basic knowledge and fundamental techniques necessary for research. 3. Perform structural design and synthesis (organic/complex/supramolecular synthesis) of synthesis target molecules (multi-element metal ion clusters and chiral-at-metal complexes). 4. Perform structural analysis (various NMR measurements, X-ray structural analysis, mass spectrometry, circular dichroism analysis, etc.), and physical property evaluation (especially optical properties) of the above molecules. 5. Develop the functions of the above molecules (photo-bioimaging, asymmetric catalytic reactions, etc.). 6. Regularly give presentations at research report meetings. 7. Publish research results at academic conferences, international journals, etc. Work experience of the instructor
