概要 Description
• This course examines the key issues and approaches involved in managing the information systems (IS) function within organizations, and how the IS function integrates with, supports, and enables various organizational capabilities. It adopts a senior management perspective in exploring the acquisition, development, and implementation of strategies and policies aimed at achieving efficient and effective information systems. • The course addresses issues related to defining a high-level IS infrastructure and the systems that support the operational, administrative, and strategic needs of the organization. The remainder of the course focuses on developing an intellectual framework that enables organizational leaders to critically evaluate existing IS infrastructures and emerging technologies, as well as to assess how these enabling technologies may influence organizational strategy.
