概要　Description

DVDを用いた総合教材を使用し、DVD視聴、映像に用いられた英文を応用したReadingとWriting、サブテキスト解答を行う。

目的　Objectives

リーディング能力、発信型英語コミュニケーション能力、語彙力を向上させる。

到達目標　Outcomes

ある程度の長さの英文を早く正確に理解できるようになる。
一連の短い別々になっている要素を一つの流れに結びつけることによって、自分の関心が及ぶ身近な話題について結束性のある簡単なテクストを書くことができる。
TOEICのスコアを10〜20%程度向上させる。

履修上の注意　Course notes prerequisites

単位修得のためには、授業回数の３分の２以上の出席が必要です。　遅刻３回で欠席１回扱いにします。9:20以降に入室した場合は欠席とみなします。途中退出は認めません。やむを得ず退出する際は必ず許可を得て下さい。

準備学習・復習　Preparation and review

（準備学習）テキストを読み、設問の予想をする。（６０分程度）
（復習）各Unitを学習後、小テストを実施するので、必要事項を音読をしながら覚えること。（６０分程度）

成績評価方法　Performance grading policy

TOEIC ハーフ模擬試験リーディングのスコアが成績の 1/3 を占める。TOEICの試験を一度でも欠席した学生には、単位を与えない。残りの３分の２は授業での積極的な発言20%、作文課題20%、復習テスト60%の割合で評価を行う。
[フィードバックの方法]
・復習テストは採点し、返却する。
