概要　Description

Readingの演習は、Authentic Material(教材用に加工されていない英文(雑誌。新聞の記事やスピーチなど))を扱う。内容の要約や内容に関しての意見を英文で書いてもらうことによってWritingの演習とする。また同時にTOEICも少しずつ演習する。

目的　Objectives

英語学習用に準備されていない英語を扱うことにより、より実践的な英語の習得を目指すとともに、その結果としてのTOEICのスコアアップも狙う。

到達目標　Outcomes

英文を正確に読めるようにする。自分の考えを英語で書けるようにする。

この授業は対⾯で実施します。テキストは不要です。毎回課題を教員が配布します。

準備学習・復習　Preparation and review

毎回Readingの課題が課されます。予習が必要な時はその都度指示を出します。TOEIC(主にPART 5)の復習の小テストを毎週実施しますので簡単な復習は必要となります。また最後の授業でそれまでの授業の内容の理解・定着をはかる内容の課題を課すので全体的な復習も必要です。

成績評価方法　Performance grading policy

3年生以上はの成績評価はは、毎回の課題の取り組みと学期末のテストの評価によります。

2年生が受講する場合は、最初に割り当てられたReading & Writing 3のクラスでTOEICハーフ模擬テストを受験する必要があります。TOEICハーフ模擬テストを受験していないと単位は修得できません。TOEICハーフ模擬テストのリーディングのスコアが三分の一、毎回の課題の取り組みと学期末のテストの成績が三分の二で評価します。

授業ではWORDのファイルで課題を提出してもらいます。第1回の授業では必要ありませんが、2回目以降はWORDのファイルを扱えるノートPCを必ず持参してください。充電も十分しておくように。
