各人の研究テーマの関連分野の学術論文を読み解き、異なったテーマに取り組む研究室メンバーにわかりやすく解説することによって、双方の知識を広め、深める。
Students will review past research papers, trend of field which is currently interested. They also make presentation and participate in questions on the research field.

科学論文の読み方、構成、書き方、プレゼンテーションなどの能力を習得する。
Students will learn how to read scientific reports, construct and make presentations.

科学論文を十分に読みこなし、噛み砕いて解説することができるようになる。また、自分で論文を書く際に必要な基本的な知識を身につけることができる。
Students will be able to understand scientific papers and explain the fundamental contents. Students will also be able to write reports properly.

荒添研究室所属の大学院生は必修扱い。
This course is mandatory for Arazoe lab members.

文献を読み解くためには、その背景として膨大な知識を必要とする。背景知識に関する準備学習を精細に行うことが、非常に重要なプロセスになることを良く理解し、小さな不明点に対しても手を抜かない調査を習慣化する。プレゼンテーションで指摘され、その場で解決できなかった疑問点／不明点については怠りなく復習し、曖昧な知識を確固たるものにするよう努める。
Students are supposed to have enough knowledge or understand the contents of papers. Comprehensive learning is required for the purpose. If students failed to give proper answers to the questions, they should review the issue more deeply.

プレゼンテーションや質疑応答の態度や内容を評価する。
To be evaluated in taking account of the presentation's performance level and positiveness of participation in discussion.
