概要 Description
Students will conduct experiment-based research, to understand the mechanisms underlying T-cell development and activation as well as their physiological and pathological significance at the molecular level.
Students will acquire knowledge and research skills in immunology and molecular biology, present them at lab meetings and academic conferences, and deepen their understanding through discussion. This class fulfills the graduate school’s diploma policy: “To acquire advanced specialized skills in the life sciences, utilize those skills to collaborate with engineers and researchers across various fields, and demonstrate leadership in contributing to the resolution of challenges in the life sciences and related fields.”
Students will gain an understanding of unresolved questions in immunology and develop the ability to address them through research. Furthermore, students will acquire the skills necessary to publish research findings in international academic journals and contribute to society.

<Outline> 1. Students should investigate the current state of research and previous publications in the relevant field to determine the research direction. 2. Students should discuss the research techniques and equipment required for the study with the supervisor. If new technologies are needed, students should collaborate with faculty members from related laboratories to acquire the necessary skills. 3. Students should present progress report once a month in lab meetings. 4. Through these activities, students will acquire basic abilities necessary to be independent researchers. <Research themes> Research themes will be determined in discussion with the supervisor, from among topics related to the mechanisms of T-cell development and activation and their physiological and pathological significance. Work experience of the instructor
