概要 Description
Acquire basic qualifications as a researcher / engineer through the work of compiling a graduation thesis while conducting practical research activities. This class is deeply related to the curriculum policy, paragraph 1, "Developing R & D skills that require a high degree of specialization."
By carrying out the design process of research, observation, and idea, we will cultivate the planning and action that are important in carrying out research.
While focusing on understanding the significance of research, acquire various skills such as design and production of hardware and software, handling of experimental equipment, data compilation, discussion and consideration, visualization, presentation, and writing of graduation thesis.

Preparation and review
Regular meetings will be held with the academic advisor to confirm the significance of the research, how to proceed with the experiment, how to organize the measurement results, how to draw conclusions through discussions, and confirm the research results. Performance grading policy
Evaluation comprehensively based on efforts attitude, presentation content and so on. In principle, students will be required to attend all face-to-face classes. Grades will be determined in accordance with the "Grade Evaluation Method." Comprehensively judge the attitude toward research, experimental results, contents of graduation research papers, graduation research presentations, conference presentations, etc., and evaluate the results throughout the year. Evaluation of academic achievement

Focusing on the method of design thinking, we will proceed with research using the process of solving social problems by design. Prototype production and thesis production will be performed, and the final summary will be announced. (1) Select a theme that you are deeply interested in from the basic learning of materials engineering that you have learned up to the third year, or a theme that you are strongly interested in solving from various problems that should be solved in society. Take a deep look to figure out what the essential problem is to be solved. (2) In the process of finding problems and then coming up with ideas, it is necessary to have group discussions and brainstorming. (3) Try to design a wide range of solutions without setting up a wall in the research area. (4) Prototype (5) Proceed with writing a treatise during the processes of (1) to (4) (6) Test Further observation (7) Redesign (8) Retest and observation (9) Treatise writing and presentation In principle, students will be required to attend all face-to-face classes. Grades will be determined in accordance with the "Grade Evaluation Method." Work experience of the instructor
