概要 Description
It is expected that students who take this course will enter with basic competence in composition, e.g. sentence and paragraph writing and the correct use of punctuation. However, some review of those basic composition competencies will also be covered.
You will be taught techniques for generating ideas for academic writing — crucial in the preliminary stages of paragraph writing. Furthermore, learning how to edit and build on those ideas and how to put them into a structured outline format will be covered. You will also learn the basics of academic writing by writing paragraphs of various genres. Collaborative learning, including group work and mutual editing, is done using your own laptop or tablet (phone is not allowed). At least once during the course, you will present the work, which you have written, to classmates and your teacher. 目的 Objectives
