概要 Description

Students will formulate research plans and objectives to conduct advanced and original research.
目的 Objectives

The objective of this course is to conduct advanced research in energy and environmental chemistry and to develop research abilities and achievements appropriate for the doctoral degree.
Outcomes

The goal of this course is for students to develop the ability to independently formulate and plan research on a given research topic, to integrate and compile the research results obtained during the first and second years, and to present these results at academic conferences and in scholarly publications in the relevant field. Furthermore, students will acquire the ability to compile their research成果 into a doctoral dissertation.

Class plan

Experimental research will be conducted to construct electrochemical energy conversion systems. The aim is to achieve stable energy conversion properties and the expression of molecular functionalities through the design of electrode structures ranging from the nano- to microscale. Furthermore, in order to enhance electrochemical redox activity and improve energy storage capacity and reaction reversibility, transition metal oxides and related materials will be synthesized, and the relationships between their crystal structures and electrochemical properties will be clarified to develop novel energy conversion systems.

The research results obtained will be organized and presented at research meetings, providing opportunities to gain experience in academic presentations. Based on these results, students will compile their work into scholarly papers and achieve a certain level of research output. In the final year, students will prepare a doctoral dissertation appropriate for the degree and develop the ability to independently plan and carry out research as researchers capable of contributing at the forefront of the field in the future.

Work experience of the instructor
