概要　Description

学部で修得してきた防災関連講義の上級コースとして，本講義では建築学，土木工学，機械工学等の幅広い観点から応用知識を理解し，近年発生した大地震や水害，火災等の各種災害に関わる都市防災やリスク管理を学ぶ。
This is an advanced course on disaster prevention for graduate students. Participants will acquire comprehensive knowledge from a broad viewpoint on architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, etc., and will study urban disaster prevention and risk management relating to various types of disasters such as large earthquakes, flooding, and fire that have occurred in recent years.

目的　Objectives

建築学，土木工学，機械工学の幅広い観点から最先端の都市防災学を理解する。本講義は，本専攻ディプロマポリシーにある「高度な専門知識・研究能力・設計能力と教養をもとに、自ら課題を発見・設定し、解決する能力」を身に着けるのに必要となる科目であり，近年発生した大地震，水害，火災などの災害事例を通じて防災およびリスク管理に関わる諸課題を解決できる能力を修得する。
This course offers a state-of-the-art look at urban disaster prevention from broad perspectives encompassing architecture, civil engineering, and mechanical engineering. Participants can acquire the ability to solve problems related to disaster prevention and risk management.

到達目標　Outcomes

学科間を横断した都市防災に関わる知識を得ることにより，横断型コースである「防災リスク管理コース」で実施する研究に必要となるスキルを修得し，幅広い観点から議論を行い，修士論文に向けた研究を進めることができるようにする。
By acquiring knowledge related to urban disaster prevention across departments, participants can ultimately acquire the skills necessary for research at the interdisciplinary course "Disaster Prevention and Risk Management Course", with discussion from a broad perspective, and proceed to their master’s thesis.

本講義は，横断型コースの1つである「防災リスク管理コース」に属する科目であり，複数の専攻の教員によるオムニバス講義となる。必要に応じて，外部の講師による講演会を実施する。講義の内容および準備については，各先生の指示に従うこと。
This is one of the classes in the interdisciplinary course "Disaster Prevention and Risk Management Course". An omnibus lecture series will be provided by teaching staff from multiple departments. Participants need to follow instructions on the content and preparation required in each lecture.

授業計画　Class plan

授業は半数以上対面で行う．

建築学・土木工学・機械工学・経営工学・先端化学・火災科学・電気電子工学等の幅広い視点から，都市防災を理解する。
第1回：地震防災工学を修得することにより都市防災について理解を深める。
第2〜10回：各教員からの多様な観点から都市防災に必要となる知識を修得する。
第11〜15回：都市防災に関わるディスカッションを通じ，より理解を深める。

This course offers a state-of-the-art look at urban disaster prevention from a wide range of perspectives, including architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, management engineering, advanced chemistry, fire science, and electrical and electronic engineering.
First: Participants can acquire general knowledge on earthquake disaster prevention and learn the theory related to earthquake engineering.
2nd-10th: Participants can acquire the knowledge necessary for urban disaster prevention from the viewpoint of various types of fields.
11th-15th: Participants deepen their understanding through discussion on urban disaster prevention.
