概要 Description
Based on the Diploma Policy of the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, this course aims to cultivate international learning experiences and fundamental knowledge in the field of materials engineering, enabling students to acquire diverse abilities grounded in advanced specialized knowledge, research capabilities, and liberal arts education. Students will conduct independent research through group work and deliver presentations in English.
目的 Objectives
The objective of this course is to focus on semiconductor materials—one of the primary materials in materials science and technology—by examining the materials themselves, their manufacturing methods, and examples of their applications in society. Students will gain an overview of their fundamentals and applications while cultivating the ability to clearly explain these concepts to others in English.
到達目標 Outcomes
Classes are conducted in English. Sufficient English communication skills are required to understand the lecture content. The course also aims to develop skills for discussing and presenting in English within this field. Students should be able to fully understand the overview of semiconductor materials and semiconductor engineering. The goal is for students to be able to conduct independent research on fundamental topics and give presentations collaboratively with group members, explaining concepts clearly to others.
