概要 Description
多様な読解ストラテジーを駆使し、様々なジャンルの文章を効率的に読むことで、読解力と思考力を高める。さらに、理解したことを他者に英語で口頭及び文書で伝えられるようにする。
目的 Objectives
多様な読解ストラテジーを駆使して、多段落の文章を効率よく読み、読解力・思考力を高める。
読み手が正確に理解できる文章を作成することが、専門分野を学習するには必要不可欠なので、英語の土台となる基礎的な文法力・読解力を身につけて、さらには説得力のある文章を書けること。 到達目標 Outcomes
1. 文章をプレビューし、内容を予測する
2. スキミングとスキャニングのスキルを効果的に使う 3. トピックセンテンス、主要なアイデア、補足事項を特定する。 4. キーワードと定義文を特定する 5. 段落や文章の構成を分析する 6. 文章の目的と読者を特定する。 7. 重要なアイデアを言い換え、要約する 8. 語彙ストラテジーを活用する 9. 英英辞書を効果的に使う 卒業認定・学位授与の方針との関係（学部科目のみ）
