目的 Objectives

In this class, we will do a lot of writing. Students will brainstorm ideas and topics with their classmates. Students will develop their writing skills, from sentence to paragraph to essay. We will use a textbook and other resources. The goal of this course is to write a five-paragraph essay and to improve students' overall English reading and writing skills through comprehension and opinion essay activities.

Outcomes

The goal is to acquire natural expressions used in real situations through understanding class materials and submitting assignments. Students are asked to write short English sentences, but the main focus is on each student thinking carefully and communicating with the instructor using sentences they have written themselves. Another goal is to experience the joy of expressing themselves freely in English.
