概要 Description
We will work with participants to consider ethical issues that they encounter in the course of conducting research and in the course of their daily lives.
The topics will include ethical and moral issues that participants experience in the laboratory and in their daily lives, as well as short discussions of issues currently being addressed in the field of applied ethics and issues relevant to the ELSI.
The instructor will not explain theories one-sidedly. They will discuss the issues raised by the participants together with them. In the process, we expect each participant to deepen his/her own thinking by referring to necessary ethical theories and moral doctrines, and by following certain procedures as an academic.
目的 Objectives
The goal is to have an opportunity to reaffirm what kind of morality society expects of us as researchers and professionals, and to have an opportunity to reconsider the sense of ethics that we have cultivated.
