In this lecture, students learn how to conduct statistical analysis and how to review previous research in order to write a master's thesis in the field of management accounting or managerial control. Based on comments from the instructor and discussions among students, students will identify specific research topics and decide on the research approach to be taken with respect to their research interests.

For their own master's thesis research, students need to promote their own independent research based on the discussions in the seminar. Preparation for the presentation should be done outside of the seminar. 0Preparation (2 hours)Students should prepare for their presentations by surveying previous research and analyzing data.
