Listening & Speaking 2 is an intensive English communication class. The focus on this class will
be developing and improving upon the student's basic grammar skills, listening, speaking, and
reading comprehension abilities.

本学科のカリキュラム・ポリシーの５に定める『文化や背景を超えてコミュニケーションできる能力の育成を図る』を実現するための科目です。


Instructional objectives: During the course of the academic semester students will be taught
essential grammar skills strengthened through innovative activities that promote active,
motivated learning. Students will also be presented with a variety of selected topics. The subject matter of these topics will have an emphasis on international/global themes.

Upon completion of the semester students should be able to:

1) improve upon their "core basic" grammar level.
2) English lectures: Identify the key points and be able to comprehend what was said.
3) English language articles: Identify and comprehend the key points contained within the article.
4) Oral presentation. Effectively communicate their ideas and opinions on an assigned topic.
