・知財の面白さと重要性を知り、レクチャー、発言や議論、演習、レポート等を通じ、就職や社会で役立つ知的財産の基礎力の習得を目指す。

・研究者、技術者及び教職者を志望する学生のための知財入門講座。

・理科大生が卒業後・修了後、企業・研究所等で研究開発、商品企画等に従事することを想定し、知的財産と企業経営および経済社会との関連性を把握できるよう、具体的な事例の分析または知財実務に即した演習等を通じ、知的財産の基礎を修得することを目指す。

・課題発見・解決力、論理的・批判的思考力、倫理観（知財モラル）を養う。

・具体的な事例や知財実務に即した演習等を通じて知的財産の基礎力を自律的且つ能動的に修得することを目的とする。

・国際社会で他者と議論できるとともに、積極的に自らの考えを表明し、議論のための発言を通じ、知識を活用できるよう深く理解するための発言力・議論力を身に付ける。

・課題を自ら発見し、主体的に考え、解決に取り組むための論理的・批判的思考力を習得する。

・本専攻のディプロマ・ポリシーに定める「修得した専門知識や教養をもとに、自ら課題を発見し、解決する能力」を養う内容を含む科目です。

【重要事項のため必ず確認すること】
・履修は抽選制のため、熱心かつ真剣に授業参加する意思を持ち、履修申し込みをすること。

・過去に担当教員（平塚三好）の開講する教養科目等の知的財産の単位を取得した学生は、ほぼ同内容となることから履修できないため、注意すること。

・成績評価において、教室での対面授業における議論のための発言点が大きな割合を占める。成績評価において、教室での対面授業での積極的参加（主として発言点。但し、単なる質問は除く）は全体の約4割であるため、
履修にあたっては、これを踏まえて履修申告すること。

＊発言や議論をせずに平常の課題レポートを提出するだけでは、単位取得はできないため、教室での対面授業に全て出席し、議論のための発言をすることを前提に履修すること。

・教室での対面授業では、演習として評価対象となる課題レポートの作成及び提出をランダムで実施する。

【教室での対面授業での注意事項（真面目に努力した者が報われる（ずるは大損））】
<禁止行為>ノートPC・タブレット・スマートフォン等の電子機器類の使用禁止
　教室での対面授業において、担当教員の指示や許可なく、ノートPCやタブレット、スマートフォンを見たり、使用する行為は、実質的な授業参加とはみなせないため、禁じます。指示や許可なく、ノートＰＣのディスプレイ画面を開ける行為も禁じます。
守らない場合は、欠席扱い（減点）、及び発言（評価対象）等の機会は付与されません。

＜途中退出や１０分以上の遅刻＞欠席扱い（減点対象）。

・ブレンド型授業（全１５回において、教室での対面授業は計８回、及び非同期オンライン（オンデマンド）は計７回、実施する。
いずれの回が、教室での対面授業となるか、あるいは、非同期オンラインとなるかは、
あくまで予定であって、直前に決定若しくは変更となる場合があるため、
全１５回の授業時間すべてにおいて時間を空けておき、LETUSのアナウンスを随時確認すること。

・教室での対面授業の欠席は、全回の出席が前提であって、学びを得ていないことに変わりなく、且つ出席した学生との公平上、理由の如何を問わず、欠席扱いとし、その場合、減点の対象となりうる。

・課題レポート等の作成及び提出において、本科目の学習効果の担保の観点から、ChatGPT等の生成AIの使用は一切厳禁とする。予め担当教員が生成AIを使用した場合の解答を調査しておくため、一部でも使用したと認められる場合には、無効若しくは大幅な減点とする。

・成績評価方法、授業計画、及びLETUSでの毎回のアナウンスをよく確認すること。特に毎回の講義の前後等、随時、LETUSでのアナウンスを確認すること。

・履修者に合わせた最適な学習を行うため、授業計画が変更となる場合がある。

・同じ名称の講義課目が前期・後期、並びに他のキャンパスで開講されているため、CLASS及びLETUSの登録にあたり、授業コードに間違いがないか、必ず確認すること。

[Important Information]
- Enrollment is by lottery, so students must be enthusiastic and committed to participating in class when applying.

- Please note that students who have previously earned credits for intellectual property in liberal arts courses taught by the instructor (Miyoshi Hiratsuka) will not be able to take this course, as the content will be nearly identical.

- Comments made in face-to-face classroom discussions make up a large portion of the grade. Active participation in face-to-face classroom classes (primarily contributions, excluding simple questions) accounts for approximately 40% of the grade.

Please keep this in mind when registering for this course.

* Since you will not receive credit for this course if you simply submit a regular assignment report without participating in any comments or discussions, students must attend all face-to-face classroom classes and participate in discussions.

- During face-to-face classroom classes, students will be randomly assigned to write and submit assignment reports, which will be graded as part of their exercises.

[Notes for In-Person Classes]
<Prohibited Behavior> Prohibition of Use of Electronic Devices Such as Laptops, Tablets, and Smartphones
In face-to-face classroom classes, viewing or using laptops, tablets, or smartphones without the instructor's instructions or permission is prohibited, as this does not constitute actual class participation. Opening the laptop display screen without instructions or permission is also prohibited.
If you do not follow these rules, you will be marked absent (points will be deducted) and will not be given the opportunity to speak (subject to evaluation).

<Leaving class early or arriving more than 10 minutes late> You will be marked absent (points will be deducted).

- Blended classes (out of a total of 15 classes, 8 will be face-to-face in the classroom and 7 will be asynchronous online (on-demand).
Whether a class will be face-to-face in the classroom or asynchronous online is merely a tentative plan and may be decided or changed at the last minute,
so please leave time free for all 15 class periods and check LETUS announcements as needed.

- Absences from face-to-face classes will be treated as absences, regardless of the reason, as attendance is a prerequisite for all classes and it does not mean that you have not learned anything. In order to be fair to students who attended, absences will be treated as absences regardless of the reason, and points will not be deducted in such cases. You may be subject to this restriction.

- In order to ensure the learning outcomes of this course, the use of generative AI such as ChatGPT is strictly prohibited when creating and submitting assignments and reports. The instructor will investigate answers that would result from using generative AI in advance, and if it is determined that even partial use of AI has been made, the answers will be invalid or a significant deduction of points will be made.

<Handling of Absences>
- Attendance is a prerequisite for course enrollment, so absences due to illness, special circumstances, or the course's completion period will not affect the fact that you have not participated in and learned from all 15 classes. Furthermore, to be fair to students who attended, students will not receive special treatment. Therefore, they will be treated as absent and may be subject to a deduction of points. 　発言や議論、コンテンツ、レクチャーを通じ、ビジネスにおける特許取得の意義として、競合企業に対する権利行使が行われた場合について、すなわち特許権侵害事件の事例等を通じ、ビジネスと特許権の権利行使との関係について、理解できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。

　インターネット上で最も簡便に特許情報を収集・活用する手段として知財情報プラットホームJ-PlatPatにおける特許情報の検索方法を理解し、特許情報を収集できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。

　知財情報プラットホームJ-PlatPatにおける知財全般の情報の検索方法の概要を理解する。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。
