概要 Description
In this course, students will re-examine experimental problems previously featured in the "Physics Challenge," the national qualifying competition for the Physics Olympiad. We will explore their theoretical foundations, measurement techniques, and pedagogical significance in depth. Moving beyond simple problem-solving, this course aims to understand—from both a physical and pedagogical perspective—the specific competencies and skills being assessed in participating junior and senior high school students.
目的 Objectives

Students will deepen their understanding of the impact of Physics Olympiads on secondary education. Through engaging with problems from both domestic and international Physics Olympiads, they will discover the fascination of physics and develop the ability to instruct others on the underlying physical principles, experimental data acquisition methods, and report writing techniques.
Outcomes

1. Deeply understand the physical principles underlying the experimental problems from the "Physics Challenge" (the Japan Physics Olympiad) and be able to explain them effectively.
2. Master appropriate experimental data processing techniques to a level where one can provide instructional guidance to students.
3. Be able to articulate one's own perspectives on the pedagogical significance of the Physics Olympiad and the Physics Challenge.
