・知的財産とビジネスの関係を理解すべく、レクチャー、発言や議論、演習、レポート等を通じ、ビジネスの視点から知的財産の基本を学ぶ。知的財産となる知恵やノウハウが如何にビジネスにおいて重要かを理解し、知的財産を源泉にして、ビジネスに役立てる感性を学ぶ。

・To understand the relationship between intellectual property and business, learn the basics of intellectual property from a business perspective through lectures, comments and discussions, exercises, reports, etc. Understand how important the knowledge and know-how that constitutes intellectual property is in business, and learn the sensibility to use intellectual property as a source to benefit business.

・知的財産とビジネスの関係を理解し、知的財産となるアイデアやノウハウが如何にビジネスにおいて重要かを理解し、知的財産を源泉にして、ビジネスに役立てる感性を学ぶことを目的とする。

- The purpose of this course is to understand the relationship between intellectual property and business, and how important ideas and know-how that become intellectual property are in business, and to learn the sensibility to use intellectual property as a source of benefit to business.

- To acquire logical and critical thinking skills to discover problems on one's own, think independently, and work to solve them.

＊成績評価において、教室での対面授業における議論のための発言が大きな割合を占める。発言や議論をせずに平常の課題レポートを提出するだけでは、単位取得はできないため、教室での対面授業に全て出席し、議論のための発言をすることを前提に履修すること。

・課題レポート等の作成及び提出において、本科目の学習効果の担保の観点から、ChatGPT等の生成AIの使用は一切厳禁とする。予め担当教員が生成AIを使用した場合の解答を調査しておくため、一部でも使用したと認められる場合には、無効若しくは大幅な減点とする。

・いずれの回が、教室での対面授業となるか、あるいは、非同期オンラインとなるかは、
あくまで予定であって、直前に決定若しくは変更となる場合があるため、
全１５回の授業時間すべてにおいて時間を空けておき、LETUSのアナウンスを随時確認すること。

・毎回の授業に先立ち、随時、LETUSでのアナウンスを確認してください。

・履修者に合わせた最適な学習を行うため、授業計画（内容や順序等）が変更となる場合があります。

*Comments made in face-to-face classrooms for discussion will make up a large proportion of the grade. Students will not receive credits by simply submitting a regular assignment report without making any comments or discussions, so students should take this course on the premise that they will attend all face-to-face classroom classes and make comments for discussions.

・準備学習：毎回の授業に先立ち、該当箇所を事前に書籍等で予習してください。
・復習：各回ごと、２時間程度の時間をかけ、深い理解に努めてください。

・Preparatory Learning:  before each lesson, be sure to prepare the relevant part.
・Review: Each time, it takes about two hours and try to deepen understanding.

・教室の対面授業での積極的参加（主として発言。但し、単なる質問は除く）を約４割、
平常の課題レポート（LETUSでの提出、並びに教室の対面授業においてランダムで実施する演習の課題レポートの提出）約４割、
、及び期末レポート約２割で評価する。
 （教室での授業の出席は当然であるため、評価対象外となる一方、欠席は減点対象となり得る。
　発言や議論をせずにレポートを提出するだけでは、単位取得はできない）。

＊課題レポート等の作成及び提出において、本科目の学習効果の担保の観点から、ChatGPT等の生成AIの使用は一切厳禁とする。予め担当教員が生成AIを使用した場合の解答を調査しておくため、一部でも使用したと認められる場合には、無効若しくは大幅な減点とする。

＜欠席の取り扱い＞
・出席が履修上の前提のため、病欠や慶弔、科目履修期間を含め如何なる理由であっても、全１５回を前提とする授業に参加して学びを得ていないことには変わりがなく、また、出席した学生との公平上、特別扱いはしないため、欠席扱いに変わりはなく、減点対象となりうる（その分、以後の授業での発言や平常の課題レポートで挽回すること。文科省の方針により、出席そのものは、履修上の当然の前提のため、加点しない。発言等の積極的な参加活動が加点対象。）

・対面授業における４回以上の欠席は、単位付与の対象外。

＜成績評価の方針＞
・真面目に努力した者が報われる（ずるは大損）。
　→知的財産の根本的な思想、及び本学におけるノブレスオブリージュの精神

・Evaluation will be based on active participation in face-to-face classroom classes (mainly speaking, but not simply asking questions) which accounts for about 40% of the grade,
regular assignment reports (submissions via LETUS and assignment reports for exercises randomly conducted in face-to-face classroom classes) which accounts for about 40%,
and final reports which accounts for about 20% of the grade.
(Attendance at classroom classes is expected and will not be evaluated, but absences may result in points being deducted.
You will not be able to obtain credits by simply submitting a report without speaking or discussing.)

<Handling of absences>
- Because attendance is a prerequisite for taking the course, absence due to illness, congratulations or condolences, or for any other reason, including the period during which the course is being taken, does not change the fact that you have not participated in and learned from all 15 classes. Also, to be fair to students who attended, you will not be treated specially, so you will still be considered absent and may be subject to a deduction of points (you will have to make up for this by speaking up in subsequent classes or completing regular assignment reports. According to the policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, attendance itself is a prerequisite for taking the course, so points will not be added. Active participation such as speaking up will be added.)
- Absences of four or more face-to-face classes will not be eligible for credits.

１．ビジネスにおける知的財産の重要性と概要【教室での対面授業】

２．ビジネスにおける知的財産の重要性、及び特許制度の概要＜非同期オンライン（オンデマンド）＞
　知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産とビジネスの実際的な関係を理解する。ビジネスを意識しつつ、知的財産の重要性、並びに、特許制度の特徴や特許取得の意義等を理解し、研究や開発の場面で特許を意識できるようになる。

３．ビジネスを踏まえた特許取得までのプロセス【教室での対面授業】
　発言や議論、コンテンツ、レクチャーを通じ、知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産とビジネスの実際的な関係を理解する。知的財産を活かすビジネスを意識しつつ、研究開発の成果である発明について特許を取得するための特許出願手続きから特許取得までの概要を把握するとともに、特許取得までのプロセスを俯瞰できるようになる。

４．ビジネスを踏まえた企業経営と特許制度＜非同期オンライン（オンデマンド）＞
　知的財産を活かすビジネスを意識しつつ、企業における特許取得の意義を総体的に把握するため、具体例を通じ、その意義を理解し、企業経営と特許制度の関係性について俯瞰できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産とビジネスの関係を理解する。

５．ビジネスにおける特許権の権利行使【教室での対面授業】
　発言や議論、コンテンツ、レクチャーを通じ、知的財産を活かすビジネスを意識しつつ、企業における特許取得の意義として、競合企業に対する権利行使が行われた場合について、すなわち特許権侵害事件の事例を通じ、理解し、企業経営と特許権の権利行使との関係について俯瞰できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。特許発明に基づくビジネス構想について、日常から意識する感覚を会得する。

６．ビジネスにおける特許情報の収集と活用＜非同期オンライン（オンデマンド）＞
　知的財産を活かすビジネスを意識しつつ、インターネット上で最も簡便に特許情報を収集・活用する手段として知財情報プラットホームJ-PlatPatにおける特許情報の検索方法を理解し、特許情報を収集できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。

７．ビジネスにおける多様な知財情報の収集と活用【教室での対面授業】
　発言や議論、コンテンツ、レクチャーを通じ、知的財産を活かすビジネスを意識しつつ、知財情報プラットホームJ-PlatPatにおける知財全般の情報の検索方法を理解し、知財情報を収集できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。
　
８．ビジネスと著作権【教室での対面授業】
　発言や議論、コンテンツ、レクチャーを通じ、ビジネスとの関係を意識しつつ、著作権法の概略として、「著作権法の目的」「著作者と著作権者」「保護対象としての著作物」「著作権の種類」「保護期間」など著作権法の基本的理念と構成を把握し、社会と著作権の関係を概観できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。

９．多様な知的財産とビジネスの現代事情（１）＜非同期オンライン（オンデマンド）＞
　ビジネスとの関係を意識しつつ、社会において知的財産の活用に資するべく、事例を通じ、様々な知的財産の現代事情を知り、企業と知的財産の関係を俯瞰できるようになる。

　ビジネスとの関係を意識しつつ、前回に引き続き、社会において知的財産の活用に資するべく、様々な知的財産の現代事情を知り、企業と知的財産の関係を俯瞰できるようになる。
