・知財の面白さと重要性を知り、レクチャー、発言や議論、演習、レポート等を通じ、就職や社会で役立つ知的財産の基礎力の習得を目指す。
・研究者、技術者及び教職者を志望する学生のための知財入門講座。
・理科大生が卒業後・修了後、企業・研究所等で研究開発、商品企画等に従事することを想定し、知的財産と企業経営および経済社会との関連性を把握できるよう、具体的な事例の分析または知財実務に即した演習等を通じ、知的財産の基礎を修得することを目指す。

・具体的な事例や知財実務に即した演習等を通じて知的財産の基礎力を自律的且つ能動的に修得することを目的とする。
・国際社会で他者と議論できるとともに、積極的に自らの考えを表明し、議論のための発言を通じ、知識を活用できるよう深く理解するための発言力・議論力を身に付ける。
・課題を自ら発見し、主体的に考え、解決に取り組むための論理的・批判的思考力を習得する。

【重要事項のため必ず確認すること】
・履修者数の上限は、抽選で50名。

・過去に担当教員（平塚三好）の開講する教養科目等の知的財産の単位を取得した学生は、ほぼ同内容となることから履修できないため、注意すること。

・成績評価において、教室での対面授業における議論のための発言点が大きな割合を占める。成績評価において、教室での対面授業での積極的参加（主として発言点。但し、単なる質問は除く）は全体の約4割であるため、
履修にあたっては、これを踏まえて履修申告すること。

＊発言や議論をせずに平常の課題レポートを提出するだけでは、単位取得はできないため、教室での対面授業に全て出席し、議論のための発言をすることを前提に履修すること。

・教室での対面授業では、演習として評価対象となる課題レポートの作成及び提出をランダムで実施する。

・ブレンド型授業（全１５回において、教室での対面授業は計８回、及び非同期オンライン（オンデマンド）は計７回、実施する。
いずれの回が、教室での対面授業となるか、あるいは、非同期オンラインとなるかは、
あくまで予定であって、直前に決定若しくは変更となる場合があるため、
全１５回の授業時間すべてにおいて時間を空けておき、LETUSのアナウンスを随時確認すること。

・教室での対面授業の欠席は、全回の出席が前提であって、学びを得ていないことに変わりなく、且つ出席した学生との公平上、理由の如何を問わず、欠席扱いとし、その場合、減点の対象となりうる。

・課題レポート等の作成及び提出において、本科目の学習効果の担保の観点から、ChatGPT等の生成AIの使用は一切厳禁とする。予め担当教員が生成AIを使用した場合の解答を調査しておくため、一部でも使用したと認められる場合には、無効若しくは大幅な減点とする。

・成績評価方法、授業計画、及びLETUSでの毎回のアナウンスをよく確認すること。特に毎回の講義の前後等、随時、LETUSでのアナウンスを確認すること。

・履修者に合わせた最適な学習を行うため、授業計画が変更となる場合がある。

・同じ名称の講義課目が前期・後期、並びに他のキャンパスで開講されているため、CLASS及びLETUSの登録にあたり、授業コードに間違いがないか、必ず確認すること。

[Important information, please make sure to check]

・The maximum number of students who can enroll is 50, which will be chosen by lottery.

・Please note that students who have previously earned credits on intellectual property in liberal arts courses offered by the instructor (Miyoshi Hiratsuka) will not be able to enroll in this course, as the content will be almost the same.

・In terms of grading, the points for comments made in face-to-face classroom discussions will make up a large proportion of the grade. In terms of grading, active participation in face-to-face classroom classes (mainly comments, but excluding simple questions) accounts for about 40% of the total,
so please take this into consideration when declaring your enrollment.

*You will not be able to earn credits by simply submitting a regular assignment report without making comments or discussions, so please enroll with the assumption that you will attend all face-to-face classroom classes and make comments in discussions.

・In face-to-face classroom classes, the creation and submission of assignment reports to be evaluated will be carried out randomly as an exercise.

・Blended classes (out of a total of 15 classes, 8 will be face-to-face in the classroom and 7 will be asynchronous online (on-demand).
Whether a class will be face-to-face in the classroom or asynchronous online is merely a tentative plan and may be decided or changed at the last minute, so
please leave time free for all 15 classes and check LETUS announcements as needed.

・Absence from face-to-face classes in the classroom is a given, and does not change the fact that you have not learned anything. Also, to be fair to students who attended, you will be considered absent regardless of the reason, and in that case, you may be subject to a deduction of points.

・In the creation and submission of assignment reports, etc., the use of generative AI such as ChatGPT is prohibited from the perspective of ensuring the learning effect of this course. It is strictly prohibited to use AI-generated answers. In advance, the instructor will check the answers that would have been obtained if AI-generated answers had been used, and if it is found that AI-generated answers have been used even in part, the answers will be invalid or a large deduction of points will be made.

・Please carefully check the grading method, lesson plan, and each announcement on LETUS. In particular, please check the announcements on LETUS from time to time, such as before and after each lecture.

・The lesson plan may change in order to provide optimal learning for each student.

・Since courses with the same name are offered in the first and second semesters and at other campuses, please be sure to check that the lesson code is correct when registering for CLASS and LETUS.

・準備学習：毎回の授業に先立ち、該当箇所を事前に予習しておくこと。
・復習：各回ごと、２時間程度の時間をかけ、深い理解に努めること。

・教室での対面授業での積極的参加（主として発言点。但し、質問は除く）約4割、
課題レポート（非同期の回でのLETUSの提出に加えて、演習として教室での対面授業でもランダムで実施する。）約4割、
及び期末（最終）レポート約2割。
（教室での対面授業について、出席は当然のため評価対象外である一方、欠席は減点対象となることを前提とし、履修申告すること。）

・真面目に努力した者が報われる（ずるは大損）。
　→知的財産の根本的な思想、及び本学におけるノブレスオブリージュの精神

＜成績評価における注意点＞
・発言や議論をせずにレポートを提出するだけでは、単位取得はできない。
・対面授業における４回以上の欠席は、単位付与の対象外。

＜欠席の取り扱い＞
・出席が履修上の前提のため、病欠や慶弔、科目履修期間を含め如何なる理由であっても、全１５回を前提とする授業に参加して学びを得ていないことには変わりがなく、また、出席した学生との公平上、特別扱いはしないため、欠席扱いに変わりはなく、減点対象となりうる（その分、以後の授業での発言や平常の課題レポートで挽回すること。文科省の方針により、出席そのものは、履修上の当然の前提のため、加点しない。発言等の積極的な参加活動が加点対象。）

<Points to note in grading>

Also, to be fair to students who attended, you will not be given special treatment, so you will still be considered absent and may be subject to a deduction of points (you will be able to make up for this by speaking up in subsequent classes or completing regular assignment reports. According to the policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, attendance itself is a prerequisite for taking the course, so points will not be added. 　知的財産の重要性及び種類や特許制度の特徴、及び特許取得の意義等を理解し、研究や開発の場面で特許をはじめ知的財産を意識できるようになる。その他、知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。

　発言や議論、コンテンツ、レクチャーを通じ、研究開発の成果である発明について特許を取得するための特許出願手続きから特許取得までのプロセスの概要を理解できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。

４．ビジネスと多様な知的財産との関係＜非同期オンライン（オンデマンド）＞
　ビジネスと多様な知的財産の関係の重要性を理解できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。

５．ビジネスにおける知的財産の重要性と特許権の権利行使等【教室での対面授業】
　発言や議論、コンテンツ、レクチャーを通じ、ビジネスにおける特許取得の意義として、競合企業に対する権利行使が行われた場合について、すなわち特許権侵害事件の事例等を通じ、ビジネスと特許権の権利行使との関係について、理解できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。

６．知的財産のビジネスでの重要性と特許情報の収集と活用＜非同期オンライン（オンデマンド）＞
　インターネット上で最も簡便に特許情報を収集・活用する手段として知財情報プラットホームJ-PlatPatにおける特許情報の検索方法を理解し、特許情報を収集できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。

７．知的財産のビジネスでの重要性と多様な知財情報の収集と活用【教室での対面講義、あるいは非同期オンライン授業（オンデマンド）となるかについては、LETUSで確認すること。】
　知財情報プラットホームJ-PlatPatにおける知財全般の情報の検索方法の概要を理解する。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。

８．知的財産のビジネスでの重要性と著作権【教室での対面講義、あるいは非同期オンライン授業（オンデマンド）となるかについては、直前で変更となる場合もあるため、LETUSで確認すること。】
　著作権法の概略として、「著作権法の目的」「著作者と著作権者」「保護対象としての著作物」「著作権の種類」「保護期間」など著作権法の基本的理念と構成を把握し、社会と著作権の関係を概観できるようになる。知的財産全般の理解に資するトピックスを通じ、知的財産の理解を深める。

９．多様な知的財産の現代事情（１）＜非同期オンライン（オンデマンド）＞
　社会において知的財産の活用に資するべく、様々な知的財産の現代事情を知り、企業と知的財産の関係を俯瞰できるようになる。
