建築材料学の基礎となる，建築材料、コンクリート工学、環境工学、および施工、品質管理、維持保全に関わる研究テーマ，課題を設定し，2年間の研究成果を修士論文として取り纏める。
Students are required to write a master's thesis related to building materials, concrete engineering, environmental engineering, construction, quality control, maintenance and preservation, and other research area which are related to the building materials science and construction engineering.

修士研究における研究の推進
The objective os this class is to complete the master's thesis.

修士論文の範囲と構成を確定し、主たるテーマに関する研究を進め、査読付き論文の執筆・投稿を行うことを推奨する。
The expected outcome of this class is to determine the scope and composition of master thesis and ernforce the essential constituent researches. Students are recomended to write a scientific paper for a peer-reviewed journal, and/or present at a symposium, conference, etc.

研究計画の達成度合い、論文執筆状況等による。
執筆した論文を所定の学会に投稿、あるいはシンポジウムや会議等で研究発表することを原則とする。
Depending on the degree of achievement of the research plan, the writing status of the dissertation, etc. Students are required to submit a scientific paper for a peer-reviewed journal, and/or present at a symposium, conference, etc.

学生各自が研究のプレゼンテーションを行い，指導教員とのディスカッションにより研究の質を高め、修士論文を完成させる。学会などへの投稿論文に関する発表を実施する。

４．修士論文審査

すべての履修学生に対して、所要の研究会・各種打合せ、実験準備、実験などについて対面かつ能動的に参加することを求めます。

Students are required to present his / her research progress in periodical meeting and have a scheduled meeting with the supervisor to complete the master's thesis.
Also it is recomended to write a scientific paper for a peer-reviewed journal, and/or present at a symposium, conference, etc.
1. Discussion with supervisor
2. Presentation on research progress regarding the submitted journal paper　
3. Completion their master's thesis.
4. Master's thesis examination
