① [対面]対面授業/ [On-site] On-site class

提携校など海外の大学に留学し、留学先の研究室において、所属する研究室の指導教員との連携のもとで、各自の研究テーマに関連する実習（実験、ゼミなど）を行い、問題発掘、実施計画、実施手段、問題解決、結果の評価、外国語発表などの能力を発展させる。
By attending seminars and conducting experiments related to collaborative research at an overseas partner university, the improvement of abilities concerning problem finding, execution planning, implementation strategy, problem solution, results evaluation, and a presentation in English is expected.

留学先の国に関する知見を広めるとともに、研究を通して英語力を上達させる。
Aimed at broadening knowledge concerning host country and improving English skill throughout the research.

国際会議等の英語発表において、質疑応答を適切に行えるようになる。
Achieving English presentation level to appropriately answer to any questions in international conference.

留学先でスムーズに業務が遂行できるレベルの英語等の外国語を習得しておくこと。
English or host language skill which enables smooth communication with advisers and students in the host university is required.

[準備学習]　渡航前に研究テーマと進め方を留学先の指導教官とメール等で打ち合わせを行い、現地到着後、直ちに研究活動に入れるように事前準備を行う。

[復習]　帰国後、速やかに実習報告書を作成し、理科大の指導教員とディスカッションを行う。

[Preparation] Before visiting, the research subject and the research plan should be determined for smooth start of the research at the host university.

[Review] After returning to TUS, submission of the accomplishment report and the discussion with the advisor at TUS is required.

帰国後の実習報告50％、留学先の指導教員の評価50％
50%: accomplishment report.
50%: evaluation by the adviser at the host university.

留学先の指導教員の指示に従う。Following the adviser at the host university.

1-3 研究計画の作成および留学先との調整
　問題発掘、実施計画、実施手段を指導教官の指導のもとに決定する。また、それらの資料を外国語で作成し留学先との連絡を取り調整する。

4-5　留学先研究室での打ち合わせ
　問題発掘、実施計画、実施手段を留学先の指導教官に説明し確認するほか、現地での研究設備等について習得し、研究活動に入る準備を行う。

6-11　留学先研究室での研究
　留学先の教員の指導のもと、研究を進める。計画通りに進まない場合などは、留学先の指導教員と相談するほか、場合によっては理科大の指導教員と連絡を取り、研究の進め方を修正する。また、研究室内の教員・学生とのコミュニケーションに努め、外国語コミュニケーション能力をつける。留学先の研究室で行われている研究の概要を把握し、帰国後紹介できるようにしておく。

12-13　留学先研究室での研究のまとめ
　留学先で研究の成果をまとめる。その成果を現地でプレゼンテーションすることにより、外国語での発表能力を発展させる。

14-15　帰国後の報告
　指導教員に研究成果について報告する。それをもとに今後の研究計画を立てる。


1-3 Making research plan before departure
　Determine the research subject, the research plan, and the method of implementation with the adviser at TUS. Negotiation between the advisor at TUS and the advisor at host university is necessary before departure.

4-5　Discussion about research plan with the advisor at host university
　Explain the research subject, the research plan, and the method of implementation to the adviser at host university. After confirming the schedule, make a preparation to start the research.

6-11　Research at the host laboratory
　Start and proceed the research under the adviser at host university. Readjust the research plan if necessary, after consultation with the adviser at the host university and the adviser at TUS. In the visiting period, it is highly recommended to communicate with the adviser and students to strengthen personal relationship with the advisor and students at the host university. Understand the research outline at the host laboratory for introducing it at TUS after returning to TUS.

12-13　Summarizing research at the host laboratory
Summarize the research achievement and make a presentation at the host laboratory. Throughout frequent presentations/discussions, improve presentation skill in English.

14-15　Accomplishment report after returning to TUS.
　Report the research achievement at the host laboratory to the adviser at TUS. A future plan should be included in the report.

この科目は，所属研究室と留学先研究室との間で共同研究等を実施していることが前提となる。履修登録前に必ず指導教員に相談すること。
Before taking this course, ask your adviser. This course is depend on the condition of cooperative research between your laboratory and an overseas partner laboratory.
