概要 Description
本講義は、材料工学における主要材料であるポリマー材料に関し、応用を踏まえた合成法と物性解析の基礎について
英語で講義を行う。専門科目を英語で理解できること、並びに英語でその内容を議論できるようになることを目標とす
る。

The objective of the class is to give an overview of the fundamentals of the synthesis and characterization of polymer materials as one of the principal materials in materials science and technology. The class will be given in English and sufficient communication skills for understanding the lecture are required. The class also aims to develop related discussion skills in the field of the materials in English.

本講義が学部講義の発展であり、この材料の合成法、物性解析に関し、英語で講義を行う。
This is an advanced course in the undergraduate courses for materials science and technology. All classes will be in English.
目的 Objectives
The objective of the class is to give an overview of the fundamentals of the synthesis and characterization of polymer materials as one of the principal materials in materials science and technology. The class will be lectures in English. The class also aims to develop related discussion skills in the field of the materials in English.

The class also aims to develop related discussion skills in the field of the materials in English, as a liberal arts course for graduate students who are learning engineering, science and technology.

Preparatory study: Read the text in advance for items related to the relevant part of the lecture and understand the contents.

Review: (1) Review and fully understand what was explained in the lecture and the contents discussed between the faculty and the student.
成績評価方法 Performance grading policy
講義内に出される課題の提出および講義内容の理解を問う評価試験を行う。これらをもとに総合的に評価する。

Submit an assignment to be given in the lecture and conduct an evaluation test to ask for an understanding of the content of the lecture. Comprehensively evaluate based on these.

3. Structures of polymers 2: Understand the molecular weight, and molecular shapes (section 5.5-5.6).
