概要　Description
本授業ではベイズ統計、機械学習、自然言語処理など最新の計量分析およびデータサイエンスの手法を学ぶ。また研究論文の作成について個別に指導する。
Students will learn the cutting edge knowledge on advanced econometrics and data science including Bayesian statistical modeling, machine learning and natural language processing.
Individual quidance on writing reaserch papers is akso prvovided.



目的　Objectives
修士論文作成に向けた基礎的知識を習得し、これを発展させることを目的とする。
The purpose is to acquire the basic knowledge for writing a master's thesis and to develop it.
本科目はディプロマポリシーにある「修得した高度な専門知識・研究能力と教養をもとに、自ら課題を発見・設定し、解決する能力」に対応する。
This class corresponds to the Diploma Policy's "Ability to discover, set up, and solve problems on their own based on the advanced specialized knowledge, research skills, and general education they have acquired."

到達目標　Outcomes
各自の研究関心に従って収集した研究論文を十分理解し、さらには修士論文のテーマ特定とアウトラインを構築できることを目標とする。
The goal is to fully understand the collected literatures according to individual research interests, and specify the theme of the master's thesis and depict its overview.
