概要 Description
Listening and speaking 1 is an intensive English communication class. The focus of this class will be developing and improving upon the students listening, speaking, and reading comprehension. Students will be required to:
1) Listen to an English lecture on a selected topic. 2) Read an English article on a selected topic. 3) Complete a quiz each week from the lecture/article. 4) Complete various homework assignments including weekly speaking assignments. 5) Students will be required to make two oral presentations during the course of the semester. 目的 Objectives
Students will be introduced to various global topics throughout the semester. Students will be introduced to these topics via English lectures and news articles. As a result, students will have a better understanding of global affairs, and a better command of English.

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:

Students will be assigned a letter grade upon completion of the academic semester. Students will be assessed as follows:
