We study the basic theories on firms' investment, financing, and payout policies.
企業の投資、資金調達、ペイアウト政策に関する基礎的な理論を学ぶ。

To learn advanced knowledge on corporate finance so that you can carry out your own research, which is in line with the department's diploma policy.
本学科のディプロマ・ポリシーに定める「専門知識を以って研究を完成できる能力を身に付ける」を実現するための科目である。

To comprehend the fundamental theories frequently applied in economics and management, and to be prepared to take more advanced courses in finance.
経済・経営学で幅広く応用される重要理論を理解し、3年次以降の専門科目等の履修準備を整える。

Required to take the course of "Introduction to Finance." Also, preferable to take the course of "Asset Pricing".
「ファイナンス入門および演習」が履修済みであること。また、「アセット・プライシング」の履修済みが望ましい。

Students are expected to preview and review the lecture materials at least 4 hours a week.
各自授業資料の予習および復習を週4時間以上行うこと。

Your grade will be determined based on final exam, home assignment, and attendance (e.g., home assignment 30%, final exam 70%).
Note that you won't be able to receive credits if you don't take the final exam.
課題、到達度評価等により総合的に評価する。（例：課題30%、到達度評価70%）
但し、到達度評価が未受験の場合は履修放棄とみなし、単位取得不可とする。

・A：到達目標を十分に達成している
・B：到達目標を達成している
・C：到達目標を最低限達成している
・D：到達目標を達成していない

The lecture will be given in Japanese but the lecture material will be provided in English, which is in line with TUS's policy of strengthening internationalization. Foreign students who are not comfortable with Japanese yet can ask for additional illustration in English.
授業は日本語で行われるが、講義資料は英文のものが配布される。この方針は、本学の国際化推進政策に従うものである。まだ日本語になれていない留学生は、英語による追加説明を求めることが可能である。
