現代における急速な情報関連技術の進歩は、新たな法的課題を次々と生み出している。とりわけ、知的財産法は解決すべき課題を多く抱えていると言える。本講義では、知的財産法と言われる法律の概要を理解し、それらについての紛争（訴訟）の例（判例）を通して、現代社会における技術的な課題を学び、高度技術者としての知識を身に付けることを目標とする。

The rapid progress of information technologies in the modern era has arised many legal challenges. In particular, intellectual property law has many issues to be resolved. In this lecture, the goal is to understand the outline of the laws known as intellectual property laws, to learn about technological issues in modern society through examples of disputes (lawsuits) about them (judicial precedents), and to acquire knowledge as a highly skilled engineer.

知的財産法に関する判例を読み、現代の技術的課題を理解する。

Read precedents related to intellectual property law and understand contemporary technological issues.

高度技術者として必要な知的財産法の知識を身に付ける。

Acquire the knowledge of intellectual property law necessary for highly specialized engineers.

文献を読み、それをゼミ形式で発表してもらう。成果報告・討論参加・共同研究における役割分担遂行などが評価の対象である。毎回の講義で、参加者は相互評価（他の参加者を評価する）を行い、それを参考にして次回の講義に臨み、自分の成果報告につなげる（40%）。成果報告はプレゼンテーション形式で行ってもらう（60%）。

Students are required to read precedents and other specialized literature and present them in a seminar format. Reporting of results, participation in discussions, and fulfillment of assigned roles in joint research are subject to evaluation. In each lecture, students will conduct a peer evaluation (evaluating other students), which will be used as a basis for their next lecture and their own report of results (40%). Students will be asked to report their results in the form of a presentation (60%).
