現在、日本における死亡原因第１位は、悪性新生物（がん）である。本科目では、がん医療に関する臨床試験、がん治療に携わる医師・薬剤師の取り組み、がん細胞研究、がん緩和医療研究、などの包括的な視点からがん医療の現状と今後の展望について講義する。

Currently, the number one cause of death in Japan is cancer. In this course, we will discuss the current status and future prospects of cancer medicine, such as clinical trials related to cancer pharmacotherapy, the efforts of doctors and/or pharmacists involved in cancer treatment, cancer cell research, and research in cancer palliative care.

がん医療の現状や研究の現状を知り、がんに関わる見識を広めることを目的とする。

The purpose is to learn about the current state of cancer medicine and research, and to spread insights related to cancer.

◎がん医療に関する現状と今後の展望を理解する。
◎がん細胞研究やがん緩和医療研究の現状と今後との展望を理解する。

基本的には、木曜日の4限に開講するが、担当教員によって授業日程は異なる場合がある。詳細は、授業日程を確認すること。

講義内容について十分理解できるよう、一般的な知識については復習しておくこと。また、講義内容についての質問や意見を求められた場合など、自分なりの考察ができるように準備しておくこと。

講義に臨む姿勢と講義内容に関する質疑応答（80%）、発表・レポート（20%）等により、総合的に評価する。

・ 癌治療の現状（専門薬剤師制度、がん薬物療法、緩和薬物療法における薬剤師の役割）を学ぶ。
・ 科学的根拠に基づくガイドラインを活用できる。
・　臨床研究論文を批判的に吟味できる。
・　がん医療における疫学研究を学ぶ。

・ Learn the current status of cancer treatment (specialized pharmacist system, cancer drug therapy, role of pharmacist in palliative drug therapy).
・ Evidence-based guidelines can be used.
・ You can critically examine clinical research papers.
