概要　Description

洋書や論文の輪講を通して統計科学の数理的な内容を理解する．
統計モデルの数値実験や関連する論文のサーベイを行う．

目的　Objectives

本専攻のディプロマポリシーに定める「応用数学の分野において高度な専門的学識と研究能力をもつことで専門分野及び関連分野の諸問題を能動的に解決することができる能力」を実現するための科目です．本専攻のカリキュラムポリシーに定める「研究指導」では，文献の理解と指導教員との議論を通して，研究遂行に必要な知識と経験を修得するとあり，これを実施する科目です．
