担当教員，関連分野の研究者ら（客員教員や学内外の研究者ら），履修学生が毎回、話題提供と議論を行う。
学生の発表内容は、自身がこれまでに習得した知識，既往の研究のレビュー，現在興味を持っている分野の動向等とする。自身の発表を行い、多分野の防災に関する質疑に参画することで、プレゼンテーションと情報理解能力を磨く。

Faculty members, researchers in related fields (visiting faculty members and researchers inside and outside TUS), and students will give presentations on and discuss relevant topics.
Students' presentations shall be on the knowledge they have acquired so far, a review of past research, the trend of a field of current interest, and so on. Making presentations and participating in discussions on disaster prevention in multiple areas will help the students improve their presentation and information comprehension skills.

防災分野全般を対象に，関連する分野の過去の事故事例から最新の研究動向にわたるまで幅広く知識を習得すると共に、実社会における幅広い防災分野の課題やその課題解決のための能力が培われることを目的としている。

For the disaster prevention field as a whole, we aim to acquire a wide range of knowledge from past accident cases in the related fields to the latest research trends and to cultivate a wide range of disaster management issues in the real world and the ability to solve them.

自分自身が修得して知識、興味を持っている分野の事柄等を，専門的な知識を持っていない聴衆が内容を把握できるように話題提供でき、他者が提供する話題に対して自分の考えを整理して議論できるようになることを目標とする。　

Enable to provide topics for the audience not having the expert knowledge to grasp the contents, such as matters of the field in which expertise and interests are acquired by themselves, aiming to be able to organize ideas and discuss them.

毎回の話題提供に対して，関連分野の参考書や論文などに関心を持ち学ぶことが好ましい。（各回の授業における教員等の話題提供の内容は予め提示する。）

Students are required to learn with interest in books and articles in related fields, etc., for each topic presentation.
(Contents of offering topics, such as faculty in each class, will be presented in advance.)

第1回：ガイダンス及び話題提供の担当者決め
第2〜14回：各回の話題提供と議論。外部講師による講演も実施する。
第15回：到達度評価。当該授業科目の内容の総括を行うとともに、当該授業における到達度を到達度評価試験により確認する。
※話題提供及び議論の持ち時間は，概ね以下に記すとおりとする。
　教員等：45分/人程度（発表と議論含む）。
　受講者：20分/人程度（発表と議論含む）。

1st: Giving guidance and deciding the presentation schedule
2nd to 14th: Topical presentations and discussion. Outside speakers will also give lectures.
15th: Summary lecture and achievement evaluation. In addition to summarizing the contents of the lesson subject, the achievement level in the lesson will be confirmed by the achievement evaluation test.

*The time to provide a topic and discussion is generally as follows;
Faculty: about 45 minutes per person, including presentation and discussion.
Students: about 20 minutes per person, including presentation and discussion.
