An endowed course by CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) Japan and Japan Alternative Investment Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Representative: Yoshinobu Yarita).

Based on the purpose of establishing this course and the connection with the objectives of the major, students will learn about the fundamentals of alternative investment, a new financial field, and its relationship with management in the modern era. The course will also provide an understanding of the underlying concepts and mechanisms of alternative investment and the ecosystems among related entities. In addition, students will learn about the specialized knowledge and practices of finance each alternative investment field and acquire practical skills to solve problems. Knowledge in the field of alternative investment is often treated like a secret recipe by specialists in each segmented field, and there is little that is widely shared. Taking this into consideration, we will invite practitioners (CAIA-qualified professionals) in each asset area as guest speakers, and lecture through case studies.

• By understanding a wide range of alternative investment fields, students will learn about the relationship between new financial fields and management, and through discussions with practitioners, cultivate practical skills to apply to modern management. • 各週回に資料がある場合は、2日前をめどに配信する。配信資料を手掛かりに広く議論できる準備を行うこと。なお、ゲストスピーカーの資料は事前にアップすることができない場合がある。その際は、その方の経歴・実績や過去の論文、本などを予習の上、授業に臨むこと。
• 毎週回でレポートを課し、授業復習に代わる学習と位置づける。
• 準備学習：事前配布資料等に基づく次回授業参加の準備、復習（毎週7時間程度）。なお、毎週回で終了前後に提示される課題の提出を適宜課すことで、授業の予習・復習に代わる学習と位置づける。
• If there are materials for each week, they will be distributed approximately two days in advance. Prepare for a wide discussion based on the distributed materials. Please note that it may not be possible to upload guest speaker materials in advance. In that case, prepare for the class by studying the person's background, achievements, past papers, books, etc.
• A report is assigned every week, and the class is positioned as a learning alternative to reviewing lessons.

青木英彦：2020年8月まで、のべ31年間にわたり小売業界担当の証券アナリスト業務に従事。小売、食品、消費財、IT、物流業界など産業界に幅広い人的ネットワークを持ち、現場・現実とセオリーを合体させた講義を心掛けている。

鎗田良信：日本代替投資研究所代表取締役。CAIA協会日本代表。その他に企業の財務顧問を三社（東電HD、EVスタートアップ、特許事務所）。主に証券市場を中心とする金融業界で37年の業務経験を有する。中でも専門はPrivate Equity（PE）投資業務や事業再生で通算約20年の業務経験とトラックレコードがある。1987年野村證券入社。2001年から2014年までPE投資に従事。2016年から2020年までPAGにてPE部門の日本投資責任者。2020年より現職。横浜国立大学経済学部国際経済学科卒。
