概要　Description

最新の生物学分野の研究内容について学ぶため、近年発表された優れた原著論文をとりあげ内容の新規性、妥当性について学び、議論する。　
To learn the latest study about biology students read and present an outstanding original articles published recently, and discuss about the novelty and reasonability of the work.

目的　Objectives

国内外の研究の原著論文を英語で読み、理解し、説明できるようになることを目的とする。また、論文の内容について、発表者もしくは聴講者の立場から、論理的に討論できる能力を身につける。また、本学科のディプロマポリシーに定める「多面的かつ新しい視野を持って科学技術の発展に貢献できる」能力を養う。　
The purpose of this course is to develop an ability to understand and explain the original research articles in Japan and overseas. The final goal is to develop an ability to contribute to the development of science and technology with a global view and the latest knowledge, as described in the Diploma Policies of this department.

到達目標　Outcomes

内容の理解や専門知識の習得だけでなく､筆者の立場にたってその研究を発表できるようになることを目標とする｡
The goal of this course is not only to learn content of the research article but also to develop an ability to present the study from the author's position.
