[概要]
修士課程における研究を進める上で、重要な論文について理解し、要約し、発表することにより、論文の理解力・発表の技術を修得できるようになる。輪講1A及び1Bでは、各自の研究課題、研究方法の設定の参考となるような英語論文を取り上げ、修士の研究に幅を広げるとともに海外の知見を得るための重要な機会を得ることができる(前期科目)。

Outline: In understanding, summarizing and presenting significant papers, students will be able to acquire the necessary skills to understand and present a thesis as they progress with their research in the master’s course. Discussion groups 1A and 1B will use English-language papers that will serve as a reference for selecting their own research subjects and methods, thereby enabling them to broaden the range of their master’s research and gain important opportunities to obtain knowledge internationally (First Semester).

[目的]
研究に必要な参考文献となる研究論文を読むことによって、関連する知識の習得や自分の行 う研究の立ち位置を把握する。
これは、本専攻のディプロマ・ポリシー「修得した高度な専門知識・研究能力と教養をもとに、国際的な視野を持って活躍できる能力」に該当する科目である。

Aim: By reading research papers that are required reference material for their research work, students will acquire relevant knowledge and understand its position in relation to their research. This course is equivalent to the “ability to actively apply an international perspective based on the expert knowledge, research ability and education acquired in the Management Science Major at the Graduate School of Science and Technology” as mentioned in the diploma policy above.

[到達目標]
修士の研究の参考文献の１つとして、英語論文の読み方の習得と新たな知見等の習得ができるようになる。　

Goals: For one of the works cited for their master’s research, students will need to be able to master reading English-language papers and gain new knowledge from them.

研究に関連する論文を事前に学習する。発表後に出された質問等については、新たに論文等を検索し、疑問等の解消に努めるともに、理解をしておく。　

Students will study papers related to their research in advance. With regard to questions after presentations, they will search for new papers, strive to resolve doubts, and gain an understanding of the topic.

授業をすべて受けていて提出物が所定の基準を満たしていることを前提とし、提出物と発表の結果で評価する。
また、本研究室の学生は、輪講の場での報告内容(60％)、質疑・討論への積極性(20％)、報告準備作業(20％)への取り組み姿勢等により、指導教員が評価する。

Assuming that students have attended all classes and that their submissions have satisfied the predetermined criteria, they will be evaluated based on the results of their submissions and presentations. Moreover, students in this laboratory will be evaluated based on their supervisor for the following: content of their reports in discussion groups (60%); positive attitude toward questions and discussions (20%); and efforts to prepare reports (20%).

輪講での報告対象とする論文は指導教員の指導のもとに選定する。　

The papers on which reports have to be prepared and presented in discussion groups will be selected under the guidance of the supervisor.

1−15 論文輪講　
専門分野が近接する複数の指導教員が出席し、それら指導教員の指導を受ける大学院生が、毎回交替で最新研究論文の内容について紹介・報告し、出席した教員、大学院生と質疑応答を行う。なお、論文の本数及び発表回数（含む日程）については、最初の授業までに発表される。

1-15 Discussion groups on academic papers
Multiple academic supervisors from closely related fields of will attend, and graduate students will receive guidance from their academic supervisors.
Students will exchange and report the content of the latest research papers in each session, and will participate in a question-and-answer session with other graduate students.
The number of papers and the number of presentations (including the dates) will be announced by the first lesson.
