Listening and Speaking Skills 2 is the partner course to Listening and Speaking Skills 1. In Listening and Speaking Skills 2, students will continue to experience listening to everyday conversations that take place in a variety of situations, but at a higher level of difficulty to Listening and Speaking Skills 1. Different topics each week will provide a chance to encounter familiar and new vocabulary and expressions. Students will then actively take part in using them in conversation with classmates as they did in Listening and Speaking Skills 1. Outside of class, students will use e-learning or other materials and will be assessed on their grasp of vocabulary and grammatical knowledge.

(1) Improve general listening ability
(2) Become able to communicate more fluently. (3) Consolidate vocabulary and grammar studied in Listening and Speaking Skills 1. 到達目標 Outcomes
Students will engage with materials that provide the necessary elements that enable them to better take part in conversation in everyday situations in a variety of contexts.
This class is devised to help provide the following: •To broaden an outlook on Nature/Human Beings/ Society •To think logically and critically •To communicate ideas •To develop a sense of Internationalization (cross-cultural communication/knowledge of foreign languages/knowledge of other peoples/knowledge of International Affairs) To CV students The Department of Civil Engineering designates this class under learning/education as “Type (E) Nature/Social Studies: Enhancing the ability to carry out Civil Engineering via a thorough grounding and a greater understanding of Nature/Humanities/Social Science”. 卒業認定・学位授与の方針との関係(学部科目のみ)

Students must earn a score of 60% or more and be in attendance for 2/3 of classes in order to pass.
