概要 Description
グローバル教育チャンネルDiscovery Education (http://www.discoveryeducation.com/）を素材に極めて平易な英語で制作されたオンライン融合型テキストを用いて、ビデオコンテンツを楽しみつつ４技能（Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing）について、とりわけReading & Writingスキルにフォーカスし、総合的な英語コミュニケーション力の基礎を固めます。
目的 Objectives
国際感覚を身に着け、世界市民の一員として、他者を理解し、自身の考えを表現できる英語の基礎力を固めることを目指します。
到達目標 Outcomes
平易ながらに実際に使用されている生の英語からmain ideaを汲み取り、英語でmain pointを自己表現するため基礎力が身につくことが本講座の到達目標です。

テキストは指示文を含め英語で書かれていますが、すぐに慣れることができます。

定期に提出する課題作成のための準備時間が必要です。
成績評価方法 Performance grading policy
①授業参加/LETUS上の授業内容に対する定期の学習活動、②Weekly課題（writing）、③Unit課題（writing）の3点を、30％、35%％、35％に配分して合算します。
学修成果の評価 Evaluation of academic achievement
・S：到達目標を十分に達成し、極めて優秀な成果を収めている
