概要　Description

情報理論、特に情報理論と統計学の関係に関する、輪講形式による授業を行う。
Lectures on information theory, especially relations between information theory and statistics, in turn.

目的　Objectives

研究を進め、成果をまとめるために必要なものを習得する。本専攻のカリキュラム・ポリシーに定める専門科目の特論の一つであり、ディプロマ・ポリシーに定める「応用数学の分野において高度な専門的学識と研究能力を持つことで、論理的・批判的に思考し、専門分野及び関連分野の諸問題を能動的に解決することができる能力」を身につけることが目的である。
The aim of this course is to help students advance their research and write their master theses.

応用数学の分野において高度な専門的学識を身に付ける。
Students are expected to develop further their knowledge.

To make a presentation in every class, students are required to understand its contents and background knowledge completely and prepare for it focusing on its contents and composition.
