・本専攻のディプロマポリシーに定める「専⾨分野の諸問題を能動的に解決でき る」能⼒ を
⾝につける科⽬である。

Conduct cutting-edge research on topics related to positrons and exotic particles.
· It is a subject to acquire the "expertise" ; specified in the Diploma Policies of this Department.
· It is a subject to acquire the ability to "actively solve various problems in the specialized field"; specified in the Diploma Policies of this Department.

研究課題を解決するための⽅法を⾃ら⼯夫して、主体的に研究を進める能⼒を⾝につける。
Devise your own methods to solve research subjects, and acquire the ability to proactively conduct research.

到達⽬標
・学会発表できるだけの成果を挙げることはもちろん、成果を英語論⽂にまとめて投稿でき
る⼒をつける。
・⾃ら⼯夫して困 難な問題を解決する能⼒を⾝につける。
・与えられたテーマで研究するだけでなく、⾃ら新しい研究 テーマを⾒つける能⼒を⾝につ
ける。
・卒業ま でに国際学術誌に英語論⽂を筆頭著者で出版することを⽬標とする。

Outcomes
· Not only can you obtain the results you can present at a conference, you can publish your ou
tcomes in English papers.
· To acquire the ability to s olve difficult problems through your own means.
· Not only to conduct research on a given theme, but also to acquire the ab ility to find your ow
n research theme yourself.
· You will aim to publish an English paper as the first author in an international peer-reviewed scientific journal before graduation.

4年⽣での卒業研究テーマを継続する場合も、新たなテーマで研究を始める場合もある。⼀⼈
で複数のテーマを担当してもらう場合もある。卒業研究よりもなお⼀層、⾃主的に研究に取
り組む姿勢を求めたい。世間では⼤学卒業し社会⼈になっている年齢なので、研究について
もプロ意識を持って学⽣ではなく社会⼈であることを⾃覚してやってもらいたい。

There are cases both when you continue the undergraduate research subject and when you start research with a new theme. There is a case when you may be responsible for multiple themes. You should be more prepared to engage in research on your own volition, compared to undergraduate research. As you are of a working age, having graduated from university, you are expected to be aware that you are not a student, but a research professional.

毎週のmeetingに参加し、研究室の他のメンバーに⾃分の研究を理解してもらうこと、他のメ
ンバーの研究についても関⼼を持つこと、⾸都圏で開催されている研究会等には積極的に参
加し、視野を広めて常に今何が課題になっているか問題意識を持つことを求めたい。修⼠で
は研究テーマを⾃分で⾒つける能⼒は求めないが、卒業までにはそのような能⼒も⾝につけ
ていることが望ましい。

Participate in weekly meetings, help other members of the laboratory to understand your research, taken an interest in the research of other members, actively participate in research meetings held in the Tokyo metropolitan area to broaden the horizons of your research interest and to keep aware of what is going on now in the research field. Master’s students are not required to have the ability to find research themes themselves, but it is desirable to acquire that ability before graduation.

えるくらい研究に没頭してほしい。
To ensure the success of your research, a continuous effort is important. You are expected t
o devote yourself to research so that your research subject is always in your mind.

研究の進み具合、⾃分のテーマに近い分野で⾏われている研究の理解度などを総合的に判断して成績評価を⾏う。
To be evaluated in taking account of the state of progress of researches and understanding of the researches perfomed by other researchers.
