サイエンス・コミュニケーションと呼ばれる近年の活動のうち、受講生の関心や興味に基づき、科学記事や科学啓発書の執筆、研究成果発信などの際に重要となる「サイエンス・ライティング」（日本語）に関する講義、演習を行う。

This lecture is for development of skills of Japanese writing for science.

科学に関する様々な専門的テーマをわかりやすく伝える文章（日本語）が書けるようになること。

The purpose of this lecture is to be able to write Japanese sentences for science communications.

自らの専門分野を、中学生でもわかるように伝えることができる文章（日本語）を書くことができるようになる。

Students will become to write Japanese sentences to inform various scientific phenomenon including their studies to junior high school students,

受講生は、サイエンス・ライティングに対する興味・関心に基づいて、半期を通して演習課題に取り組むことが求められる。ひたすら書き（ワープロで文章を作り）、推敲するという作業の繰り返しであるので、根気のいる作業であることに留意すること。また、本講義の性質上、履修者数に上限（１０名）を設ける。第１回目の授業ならびに最後の到達度試験（評価ライティング）は、それぞれ同期オンラインで行う。履修者決定のための「くじ引き」を行うので、第１回目は必ず出席すること。いかなる理由であっても、第１回の欠席は認めない。

In this lecture, students are encouraged to write Japanese sentences using your own word processor. All of lectures, students will always write Japanese sentences at the place you prefer. Up to 10 students will be allowed to attend this lecture, so a lottery will be performed at the fist lecture.

第１回目のガイダンス時にアナウンスするが、基本的には「書きもの」であるから、事前に、身の回りの様々なことについて「とにかく書いてみる」ことを実践しておくこと。たとえば、一週間に一回１時間程度をかけて、あるテーマを自分で決め、それを中学生にわかりやすく伝えることを念頭に、文章を書いてみるとよい。

Try always "write" Japanese.

それぞれのサイエンス・ライティング課題ならびに到達目標に向けてどれだけ「書く」技術が上達しかを判断し、成績評価をする。素点は第１５回で行う評価ライティングであり、そこからライティング課題の未提出、遅延などを減点する。

Writing for grading assessment will be performed at 15th.

・A：到達目標を十分に達成している
・B：到達目標を達成している
・C：到達目標を最低限達成している

　サイエンス・ライティングで重要なことは、専門家にしか理解できない専門用語を、いかに一般の人にも理解してもらうようにするかである。サイエンス・ライティングの実情を講義し、サイエンス・ライティングの意義を理解できるようにすると共に、本講義の進め方をアナウンスする。
（２）実践１・武村による校正
　受講生それぞれの研究分野からテーマを選択し、Ａ４用紙１枚でライティングを行う。ライティングしたファイルをメールで武村に提出し、武村が赤字で校正を行う。
